Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Horticultural Farm Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our horticultural operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various farming activities to ensure optimal productivity and growth of our farm.

Responsibilities

• Lead team meetings to discuss farming operations and share insights.
• Monitor adherence to organic farming practices where applicable.
• Conduct trials of new horticultural techniques and evaluate effectiveness.
• Advise on the budgeting and financial aspects of farm operations.
• Manage crop forecasting and market readiness assessments.
• Foster a workplace culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or a related field
• Relevant certifications are advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in horticultural farming, preferably in a managerial role
