Job Description

As a Botany Technician, you will play a vital role in our team of botanists and horticulturists. Your primary focus will be on researching, cultivating, and managing a diverse range of plant species, contributing significantly to our conservation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments to study plant growth and environmental effects.
• Collect and analyze data from various research projects.
• Ensure the proper care of plants in greenhouse and laboratory settings.
• Assist in designing and implementing new research initiatives.
• Work closely with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate research findings.
• Participate in workshops and training programmes to enhance knowledge in botany.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Botany, Horticulture, or related field
• Master's degree in relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in plant management or botanical research.

Technical Skills

• Plant propagation techniques

Languages

• English: Fluent
