Join our dedicated team as a Bee Raiser. You’ll be responsible for raising and caring for bees, producing premium honey, and ensuring the overall health and productivity of our bee colonies. If you're passionate about sustainability and agriculture, this is the perfect role for you!

Responsibilities

• Ensure the overall health and productivity of bee colonies.
• Conduct regular inspections of hives for pests and diseases.
• Educate customers about beekeeping and the benefits of honey.
• Implement best practices for sustainable beekeeping.
• Train new staff on beekeeping practices and safety.
• Utilize beekeeping software for tracking hive conditions.
• Participate in community outreach about the importance of bees.
• Assist in the extraction and bottling of honey.
• Perform onsite visits to assess colony health.
• Adapt beekeeping methods according to seasonal changes.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Beekeeping certification or relevant experience

Experience

• 1-3 years of beekeeping experience

Technical Skills

• Beekeeping practices and techniques
• Honey extraction and processing

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Beekeeping Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with organic beekeeping practices: Knowledge of and adherence to organic beekeeping standards.
• Experience with pollination services: Ability to provide pollination services to local farmers.
