Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Manager to oversee our logistics operations in Cardiff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and experience in supply chain management. You will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless flow of goods and materials, managing logistics staff, and developing processes to improve our efficiency and service quality.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee logistics planning and execution.
  • Analyse and manage logistics costs to maximise profitability.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations.
  • Ensure quality control throughout the logistics process.
  • Manage logistics budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals.
  • Foster relationships with shipping and freight companies.
  • Utilise logistics software to monitor deliveries and inventory.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and freight companies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in logistics practices.
  • Manage sustainability initiatives within the logistics function.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • MBA or equivalent is preferred
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in managing supply chain or logistics
