Responsibilities
Set up and operate steam cooking machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Monitor cooking processes and adjust parameters as necessary.
Conduct routine inspections and provide maintenance on equipment.
Document production processes and maintain accurate logs.
Assist in the development of standard operating procedures.
Work closely with quality assurance to ensure product standards.
Participate in team meetings to discuss productivity and safety.
Oversee the cleaning and sanitisation of machines after production.
Implement safety protocols in all operations.
Manage inventory of cooking materials and supplies.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Relevant vocational training or apprenticeship preferred
Experience
2+ years of experience in operating cooking machinery is preferred.
