Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Rivet Machine Operator to operate and maintain riveting machines for joining metal parts in our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will ensure that all riveting processes are completed efficiently with a focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Operate riveting machines to produce high-quality components.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area supporting production efficiency.
  • Train and mentor junior team members in machine operation.
  • Review and follow technical specifications and blueprints.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
  • Report any safety concerns immediately to management.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Technical diploma in Manufacturing Technology or similar is preferred
Experience
  • Experience working with different types of riveting machines is advantageous.

Certifications
  • Automotive Engineering Certification is a plus
  • Lean Manufacturing Certification is advantageous
