As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and optimising our logistics operations in Manchester. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills to ensure seamless coordination of supply chain activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily logistics operations and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with transportation companies.
• Utilize logistics software to track shipments and monitor progress.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives within the logistics process.
• Prepare reports on logistics activities and performance.
• Manage customer inquiries related to shipping and logistics.
• Participate in logistics strategy meetings and provide insights.
• Work closely with the procurement team to align logistics with purchasing.
• Support sustainability initiatives within logistics operations.
• Develop contingency plans for unforeseen logistics challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• Professional Certification in Logistics is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the logistics industry
