Job Description

As a Foundry Mold and Coremaker, you will be responsible for crafting and maintaining molds essential for production. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise designs and resolve any challenges that arise during the manufacturing process. Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for new molds.
• Operate CNC machines and other advanced fabrication equipment.
• Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on existing molds.
• Liaise with the production team to ensure timely delivery of molds.
• Evaluate and implement new techniques and materials for mold production.
• Conduct root cause analysis for any defects or performance issues with molds.
• Assist in the budgeting and cost management of mold production projects.
• Participate in safety audits and contribute to a safety-first culture in the workplace.

Advantageous

• Experience with multi-cavity molds: Hands-on experience in creating and managing multi-cavity molds for higher production efficiency.
• Knowledge of different mold materials and their properties: Understanding of various mold materials, including metals and plastics, and their applications.
