Staff Audiologist

Job Description

As a Staff Audiologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat hearing and balance-related disorders, working closely with patients to deliver tailored hearing solutions and support.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose hearing disorders through various testing methods.
• Provide tailored care and solutions for each patient's needs.
• Sell and fit hearing aids and assistive devices to patients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of audiological equipment and software.
• Work closely with a team of audiologists and hearing aid dispensers.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills.
• Conduct outreach activities to promote hearing health awareness.
• Document patient interactions and hearing outcomes meticulously.

Requirements

Education

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology
• Registered Audiologist with the HCPC

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience working as an Audiologist

Technical Skills

• Hearing Aid Fitting
• Audiology Testing Software

Soft Skills

• Excellent Communication
• Empathy

Certifications

• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Member of the British Academy of Audiology (BAA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Sales Experience: Experience in sales and marketing of hearing aids and related products.
• Fluency in BSL: Fluency in British Sign Language (BSL) is a plus.
