Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to join our Cardiff team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and implementing electrical systems for a variety of projects. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and standards while driving projects from conception through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs and engineering calculations.
• Manage electrical installation projects from start to finish.
• Evaluate engineering reports and validate compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project requirements.
• Develop testing protocols for various electrical systems.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase.
• Keep abreast of new electrical technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in the electrical sector

Technical Skills

• Electrical Circuit Design
• Power Systems Analysis

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PE)
• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards: Experience with the latest IET regulations and safety standards.
