Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Highway Maintenance Worker to join our dedicated team. This role focuses on performing maintenance tasks on highways and roads to ensure safety and efficiency. Ideal candidates should have a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of road infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed inspections and maintenance of highways.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues on roads.
• Assist in the installation of new road equipment and signage.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless road operations.
• Keep detailed records of inspections and repairs.
• Maintain compliance with safety laws and regulations.
• Train and support new employees in highway maintenance methods.
• Report any issues to the Site Supervisor promptly.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance activities.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification or apprenticeship in mechanical or civil engineering is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in highway or infrastructure maintenance

Technical Skills

• Mechanical troubleshooting
• Knowledge of road construction

Languages
