As a Biomass Power Plant Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient production and compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of biomass technology.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure the effective operation of the biomass plant by coordinating maintenance schedules and troubleshooting any technical issues.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure operational compliance and alignment with safety standards.
  • Review and optimise operational costs while maintaining production quality.
  • Facilitate training and development for staff to enhance plant operations.
  • Engage in community outreach and represent the plant's interests in local environmental initiatives.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
  • Lean Manufacturing Principles Deep understanding of Lean methodologies applied in manufacturing.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficient in Microsoft Office for data analysis and reporting.
  • Production Planning Software Experience using ERP systems like SAP or Oracle for production management.
  • Leadership Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate teams.
  • Analytical Thinking Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Six Sigma Certification
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with biomass technology: Previous working experience with biomass energy systems and operational practices.
  • Knowledge of environmental policies: Understanding of regulations related to renewable energy and environmental impact.
