Job Description

As a Terra Cotta Roofer, you will play a vital role in installing and repairing terra cotta roofs, ensuring they are watertight, durable, and visually appealing. We are seeking skilled candidates who have the experience and passion to deliver high-quality roofing work.

Responsibilities

• Install new terra cotta roofing tiles and structural supports.
• Repair existing roofs and coordinate with suppliers for materials.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations on-site.
• Assist in training junior roofers on techniques and safety.
• Ensure materials are stored correctly to avoid damage.
• Perform maintenance checks on tools and equipment.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and high morale.

Requirements

Education

• NVQ or City & Guilds qualifications in Roofing or Construction.

Experience

• 5+ years of practical roofing experience.

Technical Skills

• Project management
• Blueprint reading

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Additional roofing certifications.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in project supervision: Ability to lead teams and manage roofing projects effectively.
