Job Description

Join our team as a Refuse and Recyclable Material Collector in London. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and disposing of waste materials efficiently and sustainably, ensuring that our environment remains clean and safe.

Responsibilities

• Collect refuse and recyclable materials on an assigned route.
• Conduct daily inspections of collection vehicles.
• Maintain accurate records of collected materials.
• Coordinate with local authorities to ensure compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service to the public.
• Assist in training new staff members as necessary.
• Implement sustainability initiatives to reduce waste.
• Take part in community outreach programs.
• Ensure cleanliness in public spaces.
• Document and report maintenance needs for vehicles.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant vocational courses are preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in waste management or related field preferred
