Job Description

The Loss Prevention Specialist will play a vital role in safeguarding our establishment against theft and fraud. This position requires proactive monitoring of store activities and collaboration with management to create a secure environment for both employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in investigations regarding theft, vandalism, or any other unauthorized activities.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of loss prevention strategies and security protocols.
• Engage with customers to provide a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring safety.
• Utilize data analysis to identify trends and potential areas of concern.
• Develop relationships with local law enforcement as necessary.
• Assist with store inventory checks and discrepancies.
• Help manage and mitigate risks related to theft and loss.
• Promote a culture of safety within the workplace.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements for security systems.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• First Aid and CPR certification is desirable

Experience

• Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred

• Incident Management Software

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in training staff: Familiarity with training employees on loss prevention techniques.
