Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Buyer for Farm Products to oversee the procurement and management of grain and other agricultural products. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the agricultural sector and demonstrate excellent negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and quality standards.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely procurement of necessary goods.
• Conduct regular reviews of supplier contracts and agreements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and supply chain challenges.
• Work with the finance department to align budgets with purchasing plans.
• Develop training materials for junior purchasing agents.
• Support sustainability initiatives in sourcing strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Agriculture
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in procurement or a similar role within the agricultural industry
