Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Buyer and Purchasing Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality livestock, negotiating competitive pricing, and ensuring that all acquisitions meet our quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Implement procurement strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess livestock quality and supplier operations.
  • Negotiate terms and manage supplier contracts according to company policies.
  • Train and mentor junior staff in procurement processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant qualification in livestock management or procurement
Experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cattle markets and industry
Technical Skills
  • Data Analysis Skills
Certifications
  • Certificate in Procurement and Supply
Languages
  • English: Fluent
