Job Description

As a Loan Interviewer, you will be instrumental in the loan assessment process, evaluating applications and guiding applicants through our offerings. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards of service while ensuring our compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate loan applications against set lending criteria and restrictions.
  • Interview applicants to identify their financial circumstances and needs.
  • Advise candidates on suitable loan options based on their profiles.
  • Confirm the authenticity of application details and verify supporting documents.
  • Adhere to compliance standards relating to lending practices and regulations.
  • Oversee the loan application status workflow and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Liaise with loan officers and analytical teams to enhance decision-making processes.
  • Participate in team meetings to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Keep thorough and precise records for all loan applications.
  • Provide superior customer service during every step of the application process.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
  • 3+ years of combined experience in loan processing and underwriting roles.
