Job Description

As a Polysomnographic Technologist, you will conduct sleep studies, analyse data, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes. You will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders through detailed monitoring and evaluation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and oversee all aspects of sleep studies for patients.
  • Analyse and interpret sleep data, collaborating on treatment strategies.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient care.
  • Utilise diagnostic equipment effectively to ensure accurate results.
  • Participate in continuing education and training sessions to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education
  • Completion of a polysomnography program accredited by CAAHEP.
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification.
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a clinical sleep laboratory or similar setting is preferred.

Advantageous
