Responsibilities

• Perform health examinations and recommend treatment plans.
• Carry out surgeries and monitor animal recovery.
• Interact with pet owners to understand their concerns and provide advice.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Oversee junior staff and help develop their skills and knowledge.
• Maintain clinical cleanliness and uphold standards of care.
• Participate in community outreach and events to promote the practice.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
• RCVS membership essential

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting

Technical Skills

• Anesthesia administration
• Radiology

Soft Skills

• Time management
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Interest in animal behaviour and training: A keen interest in behaviour modification and training approaches.
• Skills in ultrasound diagnostics: Experience in using ultrasound for diagnostic purposes.
