Job Description

As a Marine Research Officer, you will conduct impactful research on marine ecosystems, analyse data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop conservation strategies that make a difference.

Responsibilities

  • Lead field research initiatives to monitor marine biodiversity.
  • Utilise statistical software to analyse ecological data and generate reports.
  • Work with policy-makers to translate research findings into actionable conservation policies.
  • Organise seminars and workshops to disseminate research outcomes.
  • Oversee interns and volunteers during field studies and data collection efforts.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Science or related field
  • PhD in Marine Biology is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in marine conservation
