Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide critical care to patients experiencing emergency medical situations. You will be responsible for assessing, treating, and coordinating patient care within our dynamic emergency department.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial assessments and triage patients based on presenting symptoms.
  • Deliver immediate and appropriate medical care during emergency situations.
  • Record and monitor patients' vital signs and ensure comprehensive documentation.
  • Work alongside the healthcare team to create individualised care plans.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately.
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance nursing skills.
  • Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

Education
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the UK
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (advantageous)
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an ER RN
