Job Description

As a Telecommunications Equipment Installer and Repairer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of our clients' telecommunication systems. This position requires a blend of technical skills and a strong attention to detail to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure telecommunications equipment at client locations.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to assess equipment performance.
  • Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate records of service trips and repairs.
  • Ensure equipment complies with industry standards.
  • Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with technology.
  • Liaise with suppliers for parts and new equipment.
  • Prepare detailed service reports for management review.
  • Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Education
  • Higher National Diploma in Telecommunications or related field
Experience
  • Experience in the engineering or telecommunications industry.
