Drafter (CAD Designer)

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Drafter (CAD Designer) to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and 3D models, collaborating with engineers and designers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD software to create and modify schematics and layouts for engineering projects.
• Coordinate with project teams to gather requirements and feedback on design changes.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Document design changes and maintain an organized drawing database.
• Ensure that designs are delivered on time and within budgetary constraints.
• Prepare final drawings and specifications for production.

Requirements

Education

• Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience

• Relevant experience in the manufacturing or engineering sector

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software: Knowledge of PLM tools to manage product data and progress.
