Job Description

As a Nutrition Advisor in Colchester, you will play a vital role in guiding patients toward optimal health through tailored dietary plans. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to assess nutritional needs and develop educational materials that enhance patient understanding of healthy eating.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patients’ dietary habits and health history.
• Design and implement effective nutrition strategies.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
• Lead workshops and seminars on nutrition for both patients and staff.
• Collect and analyze data on patient outcomes related to nutrition interventions.
• Conduct cooking demonstrations to promote healthy eating habits.
• Advise on food service operations to ensure nutritional compliance.
• Involve in continuous professional development and training.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Science or related field
• Master's degree in Nutrition is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience within a healthcare setting

• Dietary Program Development

Certifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)
• Certification in Child and Adolescent Nutrition (CAND)
