Interior Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our vibrant team in Burnley. The ideal candidate will have a flair for transforming spaces and an eye for detail. You will work directly with clients to understand their needs and creatively design functional and aesthetically pleasing interiors.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to gather needs and provide innovative design solutions.
• Design and present plans using software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Negotiate with suppliers for materials and furnishings to meet budget constraints.
• Oversee the installation of design elements and provide on-site guidance.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Architecture or Design
• Further qualifications in design management are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of proven experience in interior design

Technical Skills

• 3D Rendering Software
• Project Management

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• Interior Design Society (IDS) Membership

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Experience using Adobe Creative Suite for design presentations.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations: Understanding relevant building codes and regulations that affect design.
