Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Hardwood Sawyer to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and finishing hardwood materials to meet specific project requirements. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of woodworking processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure wood quality by inspecting raw and processed materials.
• Set up and calibrate saws and machinery for specific tasks.
• Document production activities and material usage.
• Assist in training new staff on woodworking procedures.
• Identify and report any machinery malfunctions to management.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in woodworking is a plus

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with hardwoods.

Technical Skills

• CNC Machine Operation
• Knowledge of Wood Finishes

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Problem Solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with various wood species: Knowledge of different hardwood species and their characteristics.
