Job Description

As an Industrial Engineering Technologist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines in our manufacturing environment. This role requires a detail-oriented approach and a commitment to safety while collaborating effectively with the production team.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor production output and adjust machinery settings as necessary to optimise efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to resolve any quality-related issues.
  • Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery.
  • Assist in the implementation of lean manufacturing principles for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss production progress, challenges, and solutions.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant technical qualification is desirable
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in machine operation, especially within a manufacturing context.
