Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Investment Analyst to join our team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analyses, evaluating investment opportunities, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance portfolio performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to key investment decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research to support investment recommendations.
  • Prepare financial models and forecasts to support decision-making.
  • Engage in regular liaison with external stakeholders.
  • Track market performance and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Support the development of strategic financial objectives.
  • Prepare and present investment strategy reports to senior management.
  • Contribute to the drafting of investment policies and guidelines.
  • Assist with due diligence processes for prospective investments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the financial industry.
  • Provide input on new products and financial services.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • CFA certification is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in investment banking or asset management
