Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Maintenance Specialist responsible for overseeing maintenance operations and ensuring the optimal performance of various equipment and systems. This position demands expertise in both troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, as well as a commitment to safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections and keep detailed maintenance records.
  • Manage troubleshooting tasks to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
  • Liaise with external vendors for any specialised maintenance work.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritise accordingly.
  • Review and implement health and safety regulations in daily operations.
  • Engage in preventive maintenance programmes to boost equipment longevity.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices for maintenance operations.
  • Collaborate with the facilities management team to ensure seamless operations.
  • Assess and provide feedback on the performance of maintenance contractors.
  • Promote a safety-first mindset among maintenance staff.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Additional certifications such as HVAC, electrical, or plumbing are desirable
Experience
  • Hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems.
