Fire Control Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fire Control Technician to join our team in London. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of fire control systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of fire safety regulations and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and testing of fire safety equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctioning fire control systems.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of inspections and maintenance activities.
• Work closely with clients to ensure compliance with local fire safety regulations.
• Provide technical advice and support regarding fire safety systems.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new fire safety systems.
• Train junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols.
• Participate in emergency drills and preparedness exercises.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure project timelines are met.

Requirements

Education

• BTEC Level 3 in Fire Safety Engineering or equivalent.

Experience

• Experience in conducting inspections and compliance testing.
