Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Reading. In this role, you will design and analyse various structures, ensuring that they meet safety regulations and client specifications. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of structural engineering principles and will be instrumental in overseeing projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and improve existing structures through assessments and modifications.
  • Engage in project meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.
  • Assist in preparing bid proposals and project timelines.
  • Utilise software tools for modelling and analysis of structures.
  • Implement sustainable practices in structural design.
  • Document and report project progress to stakeholders and management.
  • Deliver presentations on project designs and findings.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in structural engineering
