Job Description

As a Tax Consultant in Milton Keynes, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional tax solutions to a diverse clientele. This role involves assessing client needs, providing expert advice on tax strategies, and ensuring compliance with current tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage tax compliance for a portfolio of clients.
• Design and implement tax planning strategies.
• Prepare detailed tax analysis and findings for clients.
• Conduct in-person meetings with clients to discuss tax strategies.
• Provide clients with timely updates on tax-related matters.
• Enhance client satisfaction through effective communication.
• Identify and mitigate tax-related risks for clients.
• Participate in tax research projects and present findings.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline
• Postgraduate qualifications in taxation are advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in tax advisory roles

Technical Skills

• VAT and Corporation Tax
• Tax Reporting

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving
• Client Relations

Certifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Diploma in Taxation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in tax litigation: Background in handling tax disputes and litigation.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrencies and tax implications: Understanding of taxation issues related to digital assets.
