As a Laboratory Manager, you will play a key role in driving our laboratory's success. You will manage all aspects of laboratory operations, from staff training to compliance with health and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
Lead the laboratory team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality research outputs.
Maintain compliance with laboratory safety standards and regulations.
Manage laboratory budgets, including forecasting and controlling expenditures.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance research capabilities.
Supervise the preparation of lab materials and samples for testing.
Evaluate laboratory performance metrics and implement necessary improvements.
Facilitate training and development programs for laboratory staff.
Prepare and present reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
Manage procurement of laboratory supplies and equipment.
Ensure the laboratory operates in an efficient and productive manner.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science or related field
PhD in a relevant field is an advantage
Experience
5+ years in laboratory settings with management experience.
