Laboratory Manager

Job Description

As a Laboratory Manager, you will play a key role in driving our laboratory's success. You will manage all aspects of laboratory operations, from staff training to compliance with health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the laboratory team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality research outputs.
• Maintain compliance with laboratory safety standards and regulations.
• Manage laboratory budgets, including forecasting and controlling expenditures.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance research capabilities.
• Supervise the preparation of lab materials and samples for testing.
• Evaluate laboratory performance metrics and implement necessary improvements.
• Facilitate training and development programs for laboratory staff.
• Prepare and present reports and presentations for management and stakeholders.
• Manage procurement of laboratory supplies and equipment.
• Ensure the laboratory operates in an efficient and productive manner.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science or related field
• PhD in a relevant field is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in laboratory settings with management experience.
