Job Description
As an International Freight Forwarder, you'll manage the transportation of goods across borders. A key part of your role will involve coordinating with clients, suppliers, and carriers to ensure timely deliveries.
Responsibilities
Manage documentation and communications for all import/export shipments.
Assist clients in understanding shipping costs and timelines.
Develop contingency plans for potential shipping challenges.
Foster strong relationships with shipping carriers and logistics partners.
Utilize logistics software to streamline operations and data entry.
Conduct risk assessments to mitigate potential shipping issues.
Collaborate with the finance team for invoicing and payment processes.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FIATA, IATA, CILT) are advantageous
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in international freight forwarding or related field.
Technical Skills
