Job Description

As an International Freight Forwarder, you'll manage the transportation of goods across borders. A key part of your role will involve coordinating with clients, suppliers, and carriers to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

  • Manage documentation and communications for all import/export shipments.
  • Assist clients in understanding shipping costs and timelines.
  • Develop contingency plans for potential shipping challenges.
  • Foster strong relationships with shipping carriers and logistics partners.
  • Utilize logistics software to streamline operations and data entry.
  • Conduct risk assessments to mitigate potential shipping issues.
  • Collaborate with the finance team for invoicing and payment processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., FIATA, IATA, CILT) are advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in international freight forwarding or related field.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures
