Job Description
As an Occupational Health Specialist in Cheltenham, you will lead health assessments and promote wellness initiatives. Your expertise will help drive strategies that enhance employee health and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
Evaluate employee health and fitness for work through assessments.
Design and implement health and safety training for staff.
Provide expert advice on ergonomics and workstation assessments.
Conduct risk assessments and audits of workplace practices.
Work with external providers to ensure employee wellness resources.
Develop and update health policies and procedures.
Promote mental health support initiatives within the organisation.
Conduct follow-up assessments and produce health improvement plans.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or a related field
Postgraduate diploma in Occupational Health is preferred
Experience
5+ years of experience in healthcare or wellness programmes
