Job Description

As a Barrel Raiser, you will be instrumental in the production and repair of barrels for food and beverage storage. Your expertise with wood and metal, along with proficiency in hand and power tools, will ensure the quality and durability of our products.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair barrels tailored to customer specifications.
• Use various hand and power tools for shaping and assembly.
• Perform regular quality checks on finished products.
• Participate in production planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of machinery.
• Collaborate with team members for effective operations.
• Contribute ideas for process enhancements.
• Complete additional tasks as required by the supervisor.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a woodworking or metalworking apprenticeship preferred

Experience

• Experience in barrel production or repair is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Machinery operation
• Blueprint reading
