Job Description

As a Nursing Assistant at Healthcare Services Ltd., you will provide essential support to nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care. Your role will involve assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist nursing staff in executing patient care plans.
  • Aid patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
  • Keep an eye on patient vital signs and report any changes promptly to nursing staff.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment is maintained for all patients.
  • Support the collection of specimens for lab tests as necessary.
  • Assist in patient mobility, including aiding in transfers.
  • Accurately document patient interactions and care provided.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing emotional support.
  • Follow all health regulations and procedures.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Valid Nursing Aide certification or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Experience with geriatric or pediatric patients is advantageous.
