Job Description

The Phosphatic Fertilizer Supervisor will oversee manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality control standards while leading a dynamic team in producing high-quality fertilizers.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all activities related to the production and manufacturing of phosphatic fertilizers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the production process.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality control procedures to ensure the production of high-quality fertilizers.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering and replenishing raw materials.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery used in the production process.
  • Train and guide production staff on operating procedures and safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet sales demand and optimize resource utilization.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve any issues affecting production efficiency or product quality.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as sales and procurement to ensure effective coordination and communication within the organization.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Science, or a related field
Experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in fertilizer production or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of supervisory responsibilities.
