Job Description
The Phosphatic Fertilizer Supervisor will oversee manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality control standards while leading a dynamic team in producing high-quality fertilizers.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate all activities related to the production and manufacturing of phosphatic fertilizers.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the production process.
Monitor and maintain the quality control procedures to ensure the production of high-quality fertilizers.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering and replenishing raw materials.
Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery used in the production process.
Train and guide production staff on operating procedures and safety protocols.
Develop and implement production schedules to meet sales demand and optimize resource utilization.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve any issues affecting production efficiency or product quality.
Collaborate with other departments such as sales and procurement to ensure effective coordination and communication within the organization.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Science, or a related field
Experience
At least 5 years of experience in fertilizer production or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of supervisory responsibilities.
