We are seeking a passionate Public Health Officer to join our team in Wolverhampton. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing and implementing public health strategies aimed at promoting community health and preventing diseases. This role involves engaging with local communities, conducting health assessments, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Implement strategic health initiatives to combat public health issues.
• Coordinate health screening and vaccination programs.
• Evaluate community health programs for effectiveness.
• Develop partnerships with local healthcare providers.
• Translate health data into actionable public health interventions.
• Attend and participate in health-related community meetings.
• Support the department in emergency preparedness activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health preferred

Experience

• 4-6 years of similar experience in public health

Certifications

• Registered Public Health Administrator (RPHA)

Languages
