Job Description

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Specialist to join our dedicated healthcare team in Carlisle. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality imaging services and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality X-ray images for diagnosis.
• Assist in imaging quality assurance processes.
• Ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory standards.
• Support other radiology staff as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
• Participate in departmental and staff meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Radiography
• Specialist qualifications in radiology preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in diagnostic imaging

Technical Skills

• Digital Imaging Software
• CT and MRI Experience

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Teamwork

Certifications

• CPD Accreditation
• Advanced Life Support Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Advanced imaging techniques: Proven skills in advanced imaging techniques including fluoroscopy.
• Clinical audit experience: Experience in performing clinical audits to ensure compliance with standards.
