• Identify and implement behaviour management strategies tailored to individual students.
• Ensure adherence to safeguarding and child protection policies.
• Participate in community outreach to promote awareness of special education needs.
• Engage in self-reflection and professional development activities to enhance practice.
• Build partnerships with external agencies and specialists to support student needs.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Special Education or relevant field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in special education or teaching

Technical Skills

• Instructional design for special needs
• Knowledge of special education laws and policies
• Assistive technology

Soft Skills

• Conflict resolution
• Creativity

Certifications

• Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) qualification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• CPD in Special Educational Needs: Completed continuous professional development on special educational needs.
• First Aid Certification: Certified in first aid to ensure student safety.
