Job Description

As a Grinding, Lapping, Polishing, and Buffing Machine Tool Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and operating honing machines to manufacture precision tools. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilize hand tools and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to enhance productivity.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to refine processes.
• Analyze production data to pinpoint areas for improvement.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss production efficiency.
• Follow all workplace safety measures and health regulations.

Requirements

Education

• A relevant qualification in engineering or manufacturing

Experience

• Experience with honing machines and CNC operations is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Experience with CMMS
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking

Languages

• English: Fluent
