Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Signaler to join our team in Birmingham. The Signaler will be responsible for the coordination and management of traffic signals, ensuring a smooth flow of traffic. The ideal candidate will have experience in traffic signal operations and a keen understanding of traffic management systems.

Responsibilities

• Report any issues with traffic signals to the Traffic Control Manager promptly.
• Assist in emergency response situations that affect traffic flow.
• Implement adjustments to signal timing based on traffic studies.
• Coordinate with law enforcement during peak traffic situations.
• Provide on-site support during special events that affect traffic.
• Manage traffic control plans for construction projects.
• Work closely with transportation agencies to ensure compliance with legislation.
• Assist in performing data analysis for traffic flow improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant certifications in traffic management are preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in traffic management or signal operations.
