Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our vibrant team in Sheffield. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and developing advanced mechanical systems. You will be responsible for conducting research, creating prototypes, and participating in product development from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Engage in continuous improvement of mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with suppliers and outside engineers for component sourcing.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide training when necessary.
• Stay updated with the latest engineering practices and technologies.
• Contribute to research and development initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Project management certification is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical design and development
