We are looking for an experienced Library Information Manager to oversee library operations and improve user engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in library science and a passion for educational advancement.

Responsibilities

• Foster an inclusive environment for all library users.
• Develop digital library initiatives and services.
• Implement user feedback mechanisms to improve service delivery.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or relevant field
• Master's degree in Educational Administration or Management preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in a library management position or similar

• Database Management
• Content Management Systems

Soft Skills

• Organizational Skills
• Adaptability

Certifications

• CILIP accredited qualifications
• Management Certifications will be an advantage

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Archives and Special Collections: Experience managing archival collections and special library materials.
• Familiarity with Open Access Publishing: Experience with promoting and implementing open access initiatives.
