Job Description

As a Farm and Home Management Educator, you will provide guidance and support to students involved in the Future Farmers of America program. This role is vital in helping students develop their agricultural and leadership skills while promoting sustainable practices in farming.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate agricultural education initiatives targeted at students.
  • Develop a curriculum that promotes agricultural knowledge and leadership skills.
  • Facilitate community engagement through agriculture-focused events.
  • Encourage student involvement in local agricultural programs and initiatives.
  • Conduct evaluations of student projects and provide constructive guidance.
  • Foster partnerships with local farms and agricultural organizations.
  • Implement fundraising strategies to support the FFA programs.
  • Promote the values of sustainability and innovation in agriculture.
  • Utilize technology and social media to engage students and parents.
  • Assist in planning and executing student-led projects and initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science or a related field
  • Master's degree in Education is an advantage
Experience
  • Experience in organizing educational programs for youth is a must.
