Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Supply Chain Manager in Manchester with a knack for improving processes and supply chain efficiency. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain operations, from procurement to logistics, ensuring timely delivery and quality service.

Responsibilities

• Strategize and align supply chain processes with overall business goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
• Evaluate supplier performance and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
• Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers.
• Manage supply chain risk and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with the finance department for budgeting and forecasting.
• Utilize data analytics to support decision-making.
• Establish standard operating procedures for all supply chain activities.
• Facilitate cross-departmental cooperation for supply chain effectiveness.
• Lead annual supply chain reviews and develop improvement plans.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree in Operations Management is an advantage

Experience

• 6+ years in supply chain operations
