Responsibilities

• Ensure all food products comply with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct sensory evaluations and consumer testing.
• Manage quality assurance processes to maintain product consistency.
• Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients.
• Prepare documentation for regulatory submissions and audits.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality.
• Contribute to the development of marketing materials based on product attributes.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives in the production process.
• Develop training materials for staff on new products and technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Food Science
• Master's degree in Food Technology is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in food product development

Technical Skills

• GMP Knowledge
• Nutritional Analysis

Soft Skills

• Project Management
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Food Science Certification from a recognised institution
• Certified Food Technologist (CFT)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with food labelling regulations: Ability to ensure compliance with labelling requirements.
• Experience with nutritional analysis software: Proficient in using software for nutritional evaluations.
