Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our dedicated team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting patients with daily activities and ensuring their comfort. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care, monitoring vital signs, and providing emotional support to both patients and their families. We are looking for someone who shows empathy, understands the importance of patient care, and is ready to become an integral part of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities

  • Help patients with personal care and hygiene, ensuring dignity and respect.
  • Monitor patients for any signs of distress or discomfort and respond appropriately.
  • Assist in creating a positive and comforting atmosphere for patients.
  • Support nursing staff with basic medical tasks as needed.
  • Ensure all equipment is clean and functional for patient use.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance personal skills.
  • Promote health and safety within the healthcare setting.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
